Cynthia "Cindi" D. King, 74 of Summitville, formerly of Fairmount, died Tuesday, February 15, 2022, in Ocala Florida.
Cindi was born on October 21, 1947, in Muncie, Indiana to the late Walter L. and Anita Jean (Shatto) King.
Cindy married Michael Patrick King on July 13, 1968. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2019, after 51 years of marriage. Cindi was a loving, caring, energetic woman who loved her family dearly. Cindi enjoyed cooking and baking, gardening and landscaping, traveling, swimming, and in recent years wintering at Inverness, FL.
Cindi is survived by her three daughters, Angela (David) Hostetler, Summitville, Teresa (Jeff) Hutson, Pilot Mountain, NC, and Jeannie (Erik) Davidson, Fairmount; six grandchildren, Allison and Abigail Hostetler, Patrick (Curtis) King, Katelyn (Torrance) Bolan, and Heath (Pamela) Davidson, and Jenna Davidson; five great-grandchildren, Rhyden Gowin, and Malia and Axel Bolan and Zane and Daniel. Special friend Jerry Klientank. Brother; William "Bill" King, LaFontaine, IN and half-brother Walter "Bud" King, Silver Lake, IN
Cindi was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and grandson Alex David Hostetler, 2 half-sisters; Dr. Annabelle King and Catherine Marks.
Arrangements for Cindi have been entrusted to the Fairmount Chapel of Armes-Hunt Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 415 South Main Street, Fairmount, where a visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, from 4-7 PM followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 7 PM at the funeral home with Jerry Klientank and son-in-law Jeff Hutson officiating. Private burial will be at Marion National Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the Lupus Foundation of America.
