Mona Dillard, 63, of Fort Dodge joined the Heavenly Father Thursday, February 10, 2022.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Laufersweiler Funeral Home. A visitation will be 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mona Harrison was born October 2, 1958, as the third daughter of Bennie and Joann (Clymer) Harrison. She was raised in Fort Dodge by her grandmother. For 47 years she was married to the love of her life, Jimmy Dillard Sr. Together, Mona and Jimmy had two sons Jimmy and Jodey. Mona worked at the Fort Dodge Labs and Menards.
She is preceded by her parents Bennie and JoAnn (Clymer) Harrison, her grandmother Neva Steinblock, her husband Jimmy Dillard Sr. in 2015, son Jodey Dillard in 2008 and sister Rhonda Klinger.
Mona is survived by siblings Roxie Phillips, Kelly Jo Chada, Shelly Harrison, Trent Harrison, and Stephanie Harrison. Her son Jimmy Jr. (Kourtney) Dillard, grandchildren Trever Ely, Jayden and JaeLynn Ray, Jimmy III, and Jodey Jr. and JessaLynn Dillard, many nieces and nephews.
She will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know her. Heaven just got a lot happier.
