Ennis was born the oldest of three children, his brother, Ernest "Sonny" and sister, Annette were born to Ennis and Luevenia Lipscomb.
Ennis was born on July 13, 1947 in Omaha, Nebraska.
He attended Omaha Public Schools. He worked various jobs in the Omaha community. He retired from the Omaha Public Works Department. Ennis departed this life on January 24, 2022 at the age of 74. He was preceded in death by his father, Ennis Lipscomb Sr.; his mother, Luevenia and stepfather, Zeke Rice and brother, Earnest "Sonny" Lipscomb. He leaves to cherish his memory, his sister and brother-in-law: Annette and Charles Knight Sr.; son, Sonny Lipscomb; half-sister, Fonda Cross and half-brothers: Keith and Kent Lipscomb; special uncle, Joe Reynolds; grandchildren and a host of other family members. All of whom will miss him dearly.
There will be no services.
