Teresa Marie Gue Sherman, aged 72, of Lee's Summit, MO, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at Lee's Summit Medical Center. She was born in Council Bluffs, IA on November 23, 1949, the late daughter of Charles and Jane (Thordsen) Gue.
Teresa started her career with the Lee's Summit Police Department and also worked in real estate and various other customer service-related fields after that. She loved talking to and helping people.
She is survived by her three children: Scott, Stacey and Brad and his wife, Stephanie; her granddaughter, Kylee; her sixteen brothers and sisters and her pet rabbit, Bunnie. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to all those who so lovingly helped to improve the quality of her life these past few years as she battled MS and kidney disease. She fought hard to live because she counted each day as a blessing and appreciated the little things in life, like flowers, birds, and coffee.
Psalms 118:24 This is the day which the Lord has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it.

"My memories of Terri are all the adventures we shared. I found her zest for life contagious. She introduced me to my first health food store (in Lee Summit). She embraced challenges and continues to make people feel special. "
"My heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family, While words fail to capture the pain of losing a loved one we can look forward to the time when words fail to capture joy of having Our Heavenly Father return your dear one to the family. "
