Mary Lenhart, 77, of Glenwood, IA passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 1, 2022 at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Mary and her family.

Mary Eileen Price, daughter of Frank and Mildred (Meissner) Price was born in Portland, OR on November 16, 1944. She graduated high school in 1962 in McCook, NE. On November 4,1963 she married Frederick Charles Lenhart in McCook, NE. The couple was blessed with two children, David and Terri. The couple moved to Grand Island, NE in 1966 and lived there until 1979 when they moved to Glenwood, IA. She worked in the Glenwood School's kitchen and she liked being called the kitchen lady. She then worked at Linwood Estates in the kitchen until her retirement.
Mary enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, cooking, spending time with family especially her granddaughters and two great grandchildren. She always enjoyed going to the area garage sales. She taught bible study for many years.
Mary member Our Lady of the Holy Rosary and Catholic Daughters.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents.
Mary is survived by her husband, Fred of Glenwood, IA; son, David Lenhart and his wife, Denise of Ankeny, IA; daughter, Terri Bomer of Glenwood, IA; granddaughters, Corey Madsen and her children, Dezzi and Haylee of Glenwood, IA, and Taylor Lenhart of Grimes, IA; brother, Robert Price and his wife Bev of Tucson, AZ; nephews and nieces; other relatives and a host of many friends.
