"Dear Cindy, I'm at a loss for words to comfort you and am truly sad to hear of Verns passing. You both bring back fun memories we've shared over the years. As I watched Verns photo memorial, I realized what a full and joyful life he lived. The photos of your family growing and then growing again with grandchildren that you both obviously dote on. He loved you and the kids so very much and I know that will comfort you. But gone is always gone too soon. But we will all cherish the memories we made with you and Vern, the ready wit and that crooked smile of his, once that smile came out Vern would flash those eyes and we would all laugh with him. I send my thoughts and prayers to you and the kids. I know your loss, pain and shock and I know it helped me so much to read all the cards after Dennis died that were full of stories and shared memories, I hope they help you too. "
