"My dear and beloved brother ?Salvador Figueroa was born at Belvedere Hospital in East Los Angeles to my beautiful mamacita ?Maria Carbajal Figueroa. She adored him and called him her "Flaco de Oro". He was a Mexican Charro too and he, my papi and my brothers belonged to Sunny Ranch. We had several horses. He could use the "soga" and make it dance around him and lasso horses too. He enjoyed fixing up his old caruchas, driving through Whittier Blvd with his brothers Tony, Paul, Joe and David. He always dressed so nicely. He looked so handsome with his dimples. He liked the L.A. Dodgers and watched the games. My papi Antonio Luna Figueroa took us to a game where we ate hotdogs and shared a coke. We would go to the Mexican Floral Drive movies and take burritos to eat. We all prayed the Holy Rosary with our mamacita y papi everyday. We attended Epiphany Catholic Church where we all made our Holy Communion and Conformation too. My brothers and l have so many happy and beautiful memories of our beloved beloved hermanito "Chava." Sal will always live in our hearts?.....until we see you again in heaven with our mamacita querida Maria y papi Antonio ? hermanito. Sleep with the angles.? in heaven. ????????"
