Michael Richard Halligan
October 13, 1960 - January 20, 2022

Michael Richard Halligan of Sun Lakes, Arizona, passed away on January 20th. He was born on October 13th, 1960, in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Michael graduated from Saint Edmond High School in 1980 and earned a bachelor's degree from Iowa Central Community College. He was married to Angela Larson on November 17th, 1989, and worked as a National Account Representative for ITG Brands and retired in 2020. Michael shared his passion for golf with his wife, family, and friends. He is survived by his 3 loving sons, Christopher (Des Moines), Nicholas, and Nathan of Sun Lakes, his Mother Rowena Halligan of Fort Dodge, sisters Linda Bohn and Janet Mitchell (Brent), and brothers Denny (Peg), Jack, Don (Deb), Pat (Carmie), Dave (Jodi), Paul (Julie), and Matt (Jessica), father-in-Law Del Larson (Else) of Naples, Florida, sisters-in-law Shelley Trampnau and Christina Vargas, and brothers-in-law Anthony Christopherson (Candy) and Erik Larson (Katy), grandchildren Kirra Halligan and Braxton Halligan. Michael was preceded in death by his father Raphael Halligan, mother-in-law Hannelore Christopherson, brother-in-law Martin Trampnau and Greg Bohn.
A memorial mass will be held for Michael in Fort Dodge, Iowa, at 10:00 AM at Holy Trinity Church on Saturday, June 18, 2022. A visitation will be 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday at Holy Trinity Church with a rosary beginning at 3:30.
