Sylvia VanSickle, 73, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Family services will be private and at a later date. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Sylvia and her family.
Sylvia Ferne VanSickle daughter and one of three children of Vernon and Arlene (Riddler) VanSickle was born on May 6, 1948 in Corvallis, OR. She retired after working for many years for the State of Connecticut. Sylvia loved cats and delighted in sharing photos and videos of felines.
Sylvia is preceded in death by her parents.
Sylvia is survived by her brother David VanSickle and his wife Terri of Glenwood, IA and their children, Max Manley, Gavin Manley, Jillian Manley, Philip VanSickle and Carmen Henggeler. She is additionally survived by her sister, Wendy Clarke and her husband Doug of Rocky Hill, CT and their son, Cameron Clarke; other relatives and a host of friends.
