"I think the last time I saw Loren was at one of our earlier class reunions. He was still the same...happy, loud and the life of the party! I remember being at your grandparents' house playing with you and Pam while our grandmothers were immersed in intense conversations (all in Portuguese of course)! I hope your life was full of peace and love. I never met your lovely family, but they were blessed to have had you in their lives. I pray God blesses them today and always."

"My ol classmate and good friend. I truly say unto you, this was very unexpected bad news. But God's ways are not man's ways. We shared some fun paths together didn't we. High school football, wrestling, training at Dicks Gym, and some evening jaunts here and there. We always had fun shared some stories, and laughed alot. You were always a good hearted good natured person to be around. Though we haven't connected in many years, I can't help but to think of you on occasion, on my birthday, as I am one day older than you. You pointed this out when we were in high school, telling me, you, Mary Jane, and I had birthdays that were very close. Good times and good memories brother. Now God has chosen your spirit to come home. Don't look back. May God's blessings be with you brother and upon your family. Please forgive me for not attending the service. Vic Kilby"

" My childhood is filled with many fun memories of time spent with my cousin Loren while we were growing up in Los Banos. Joseph and I have spoken of him many times through the years when people ask us how we met. Loren knew Joe before me and was persistent that Joe ask me out on a date. He thought we would be a good match and he was right... Here we are celebrating our 43rd year of marriage in February. We will always be grateful to Loren for his persistence and intuition. You will be missed cousin and always remembered fondly. Love , Your cousin Pam and Joe"
