Connie S. Hedrick
November 11, 1946 - January 12, 2022

Connie S. Hedrick, 75, passed away Wednesday, January 12, 2022. She was born in Washington, November 11, 1946, to Bernard and Maxine (Perkins) Nail.

Connie had retired from the Prairie Village Nursing Home where she was an assistant activity director. She was an avid Elvis fan, and loved to do crafts.

Those left to cherish Connie's memory include her companion of thirty-two years, Danny Gray; and her children: Kelly (Greg) Deckard of Bedford, Kim Fleetwood of Bloomington, and Kevin Hedrick of Bedford. Connie was blessed with eight grandchildren: Jacie (Taylor) Wilkinson; Bo Miller; Taylor Fleetwood; Kelsey Fleetwood; Chandler Fleetwood; Tucker Hedrick; Tadd Hedrick; and Kolten Branaman; two step-grandchildren: Allison Powell and Autumn Hout. She had two great-grandchildren: Huxley and Swayze Wilkinson, and the family is expecting two more; and five step-great-grandchildren. Additionally, Connie leaves three siblings: Kay (Daniel) Morgan, Gene (Debbie) Nail, and Carol Purdue all of Washington.

During her lifetime, Connie mourned the loss of her parents, Bernard Nail and Maxine Nail Withrow; and a brother, Tony Reynolds. Connie had recently lost her beloved dog, Molly, who had been her companion for many years.

Visitation for Connie S. Hedrick will be held 11:00 am-2:00 pm, Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, immediately following the visitation, beginning at 2:00 pm. Reverend Scott Hedrick and Rick Mattingly will officiate. Interment will follow in the Mt. Olive Cemetery, Montgomery.
