"Dottie will be missed by all who knew her. We started school together at Weston grade, and finished class of 60 at GHS. RIP dear friend"
"I've known Dottie since our years at Lombard when we walked the same route to school. Often, her Mother would take her and Roger by car and pick us up on the way. It was a treat especially in bad weather. We kept in touch throughout the years through Christmas correspondence and birthday wishes. She was exactly one week older than me. Got her last note in answer to our Christmas greetings just a few weeks ago. We enjoyed conversations at our 61st Class of '60 reunion in August. I know the last three years have been difficult for her, but I know she is at peace now. May the Lord bless you, Christopher, Melissa and the extended family. Darlene (Schisler) Henderson"

"I was so sad to see the passing of Dottie. Dottie and I were neighbors during all of our childhood, and I have nothing but fond memories of her. Even at her young age she was so thoughtful, gracious, and caring. During those troubling/challenging times of the late 40?s to the mid 50?s for me while me and my family adjusted to the destitution brought upon us by my fathers near deadly fight with his polio, Dottie helped me pull through those troubling times with her thoughtful, gracious, and caring ways. Although we didn't keep in touch after I left Galesburg, I did enjoy reminiscing with her at our reunions. The world will miss the brightness she filled the world with. Dennis McCreight"
