Tilda Wambsganss, 68, of Silver City, IA, passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at her home in Silver City, IA. Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood on Monday, January 10, 2022. Private burial will be in the Elk Community Cemetery in Elmdale, KS. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Tilda and her family.
Daughter of Eldor Jacob and Maxine (Wait) Wambsganss. Tilda had a very successful career as a nurse practitioner. Tilda was responsible for caring for many premature babies during her career.
Tilda was always willing to help her family and friends even while living with cancer. She was a very special person.
Tilda was also a member of the US Air Force for several years.
Traveling was a favorite of hers and she lived in many locations. Among the states Tilda lived in were Iowa, Kansas, Utah, Alaska, Texas, and Australia
Preceded in death by her parents Eldor and Maxine Wambsganss, and brother, Jacob Wambsganss
Survived by sister-in-law, Dona Wambsganss; nephews Warren and Jay Wambsganss along with their spouses Amy and Gena; great nieces Addison and Jewelie Wambsganss; great nephew Jorgen Wambsganss
