In loving memory of

Frank Michael Santos
October 3, 1935 - December 31, 2021

Frank Santos of Los Banos passed away on New Years Eve 2021. He was 86 years young.
Frank was born and raised in Newman, California. He was the son of Marion and Maria Carreiro Santos from Newman CA. and the youngest of 9 children.
Frank was a husband to Rosemarie, father to one daughter, Beverly Saar (Randy) and a beloved uncle and friend.
Frank graduated from Orestimba High School in 1953 where he participated in FFA and sports. In his spare time, he had fun playing pool with his friends, driving to Tahoe or Monterey with his Dad and going to dances and Portuguese Festas. He worked at the family dairy until striking out on his own. For most of his working life, he and his brother John worked together as partners in the Pacheco Oil Company and Los Banos Truck Stop. After selling his business, he stayed active working for family and friends in their farming, trucking and car businesses.
He was a member of the Catholic Church, belonged to the DES, and supported other organizations over the years. He could also be seen pulling the City of Los Banos Float in many 4th of July Celebrations.
Frank was also an avid golfer. He especially enjoyed playing golf with his daughter, son-in-law, many friends, and family. He often played locally, but also enjoyed golfing at courses around the Monterey Bay and at Lake Tahoe.
Frank has been described as a great guy who was always smiling, joking around, and laughing. He was strong and did not allow health challenges to keep him from enjoying time spent with family and friends. He enjoyed large and small celebrations, watching sports with family and friends, and early morning coffee with friends.
Frank touched many lives and will be missed.
