"We were fortunate to know Deane and Marion for many years through Farm Bureau. We are sorry to hear that she has passed, but have no doubt that she is serving God in heaven now. May He grant you the strength you need to face the future without her. Blessings......."

Melanie Butterbaugh wrote on Jan 6, 2022:

"I was mentored by Marion as an adjunct instructor at Iowa Western, being hired as her replacement when she retired. She was always so helpful and friendly, and there was never a better prepared lesson plan than hers. She was an excellent curriculum writer. She taught many ~ not just about computer software, but how to be a kind and patient person. Her light shone brightly for many, and will be missed. ~Melanie Butterbaugh"

"I held a full time job but attended classes at Iowa Western at nights and Saturdays. Marion was one of my instructors and she was, by far, the best! She cared about each, she will be missed by many. Peggy Kruse"
