PAULETTE J. "POLLY" BEAUCHAMP (BRESSETTE)
October 14, 1946 - January 2, 2022

Paulette "Polly" Beauchamp (Bressette), 75 of Marquette, died Sunday morning January 2, 2022 at her home in the presence of her loving family and under the care of U.P. Home Health and Hospice.

Polly was born on October 14, 1946 in Marquette to the late Clifford and Seraphine (Papin) Bressette and was a lifelong area resident. She had attended Bishop Baraga High School.

Polly was formerly employed along with her mother in the kitchen of St. Mary's Hospital in Marquette. Most of her life however was spent caring for her family and her son, William Anderson. In her free time, Polly enjoyed being part of a pool league for over 35 years including serving as captain of the league at the Shoreland Bar and the Beau Chateau. She also enjoyed playing Bingo and hanging out at the casino with family and friends.

She is survived by two sons, William D. Anderson, Jr and Robert M. Kangas, Jr., both of Marquette; grandchildren and great grandchildren, Nicholas (Molly) Black, Samantha (Aaron LaJoie) Black, Bobbi Jo Kangas, Brandon Kangas, Sara Kangas, Loraya Kangas, Rory Duquette, Kennedy Comer, and Jared Black; three sisters, Carol Peterson of Escanaba, Kathy Peterson and Linda Bressette, both of Marquette; one brother, Michael (Carol) Bressette of Negaunee; also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death besides her parents was a daughter, Lori Ann Black in 2009; her loving partner, Robert Koski and their canine companion, Charlie; also 10 siblings, Sandra Carlson, Gloria Finnerty, Geraldine Bess, Cheryl Bressette, Donald Bressette, Wayne Bressette, Sam Bressette, Allen Bressette, Glen Bressette, and Keith Bressette.

Polly's family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at St. Louis the King Catholic Church where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday with Rev. Glen Theoret officiating. Spring burial will take place in the Holy Cross Cemetery. A luncheon will immediately follow the Mass in Fr. Gauthier Hall.
