DONEEN A. FERRIS
November 1, 1964 - December 23, 2021

Doneen A. Ferris, 57, of Gwinn, died Thursday, December 23, 2021, at UP
Health System-Marquette following an illness.

She was born November 1, 1964, in Marquette, a daughter of Donald and
Anne (Menze) Johnson.

Doneen was raised in the central UP and attended Mid Pen High School in
Rock, Michigan.

On December 12, 1998 she married Jeff Ferris in Long Grove, Iowa.
She worked as a property manager in Gwinn-K.I. Sawyer for more than 20
years. Her interests included knitting, sewing, and spending time with her
grandchildren, family and friends.

Doneen is survived by her husband, Jeff Ferris of Gwinn; children, Rachael
Braund of Kalamazoo, MI, Jacob (Ashley) Bruns of Camano Island, WA,
Danielle (Michael) Erke of Arlington, WA, Kimberly (Kyle) Argall of
Gwinn and Benjamin (Sara Keck) Ferris of Gwinn; grandchildren, Miles,
Landen, Olivia, Benson, Harper and Ryder; father, Donald (Janice) Johnson
of Long Grove, IA; siblings, Robin (Jim) Turner of Charlotte, NC, Kippey
Garrels of Gwinn, Andrea (Mark) Denger of Long Grove, IA, Franz Johnson
of McFarland, Marcy McBride of Tipton, IA, and Jeffrey (Breanna) Johnson
of Parkview, IA; and many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death
by her mother.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2021 at 11 am at
Canale-Gwinn Funeral Home and Cremation Services with Rev. Allen Mott officiating. Visitation will be held from 10 am until the time of the service in the funeral home.
