Mary "Jane" Kline
April 17, 1949 - December 31, 2021

Mary "Jane" Kline, 72 of Anita Iowa passed on Friday, December 31st 2021 at her sons home in Van Horne Iowa surrounded by her 2 sons and their families. Jane was born on April 17th 1949 at her home in Anita, Ia. She is the son of Bill and Lenamae Metheny. Jane married Ronald Kline on October 26th 1969 in Maryville, Missouri. Ron preceded Jane in death on March 25th 2019. Jane is survived by her sons Kyle (Kim) of Van Horne, Ia and Kasey (Ann) Buckeye Az. She is also survived by her grand children Kelsea, Brandon, Alexis, Keaton, Cassie, Kenna and great grand daughter Adrian, her twin sister Judy Alff, Sisters Sandy Paulson and Cathy Alff, and brothers Sam and Steve Metheny. She was proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Shelly and Stan Metheny. Jane had worked most her life as a CNA. She spent her retirement years at the farm where Ron was born and raised. Jane spent her free time gardening at the farm and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed her calls to her grandchildren both near and far and could talk on the phone for a long time. She maintained their farm after Ron passed and lived there for her remaining years. Jane was a kind, gentle and generous soul. She cared greatly about all who she had shared in her life and was always was up for a good time. Jane missed Ron greatly and has joined him for eternity but she will be missed by all.

Jane chose cremation and her wishes were for his ashes to be kept on the farm with Ron. No funeral services are planned but a celebration of life will be held at a later date and will be announced to family and friends.
