"Marie, Tony Jr., and Mary and grandchildren, I am deeply saddened by the sudden passing of my long time friend Tony. The news of his passing has deeply shaken me. I m in tears. Please accept my deep condolences and deepest sympathy of the entire Liccione family. I lost a "true" friend. We first met 65 years ago and we became fast friends in the 3rd grade at Holy Family school (and enemies of the nuns). We were products of Jay Street, and we remained true friends to the end. We were known as the Jay Street "wise guys" and we lived up to that reputation. We went through many, many good times as well as hard times, and we remained friends for life. So many GREAT stories growing up together. He remains one of the finest natural born comedians of all time, and a class act, always polite and courteous.......and he enjoyed life to the fullest. He will never be forgotten. The Liccione's on Smith Street had 9 children and Tony, who was an only child, spent many hours at our home. My parents loved him and he was always welcomed to our home. Tony truly LOVED his family.....a beloved son, husband, father and grandfather. Marie, Tony Jr., Mary and grandchildren....Tony left this world but he will never leave your hearts. Preserve all those beautiful memories you have of Tony and he left us many, many memories to treasure forever. I will always be there for his family. Reach out to me me whenever you need it without any hesitation. Our Good Lord called Tony home to the next stage of his journey, his reward in Heaven. Eternal rest grant unto my pal Tony and May Perpetual light shine upon him. Till we are reunited again pal......REST IN PEACE. With Deepest Sympathy and Love, Tony & Patty Liccione & family "

"I am so sorry for your family's loss. I went to Holy Family with Tony. He was always making our class laugh and was considered the "class clown". In later years we reconnected on Facebook, through our mutual friend, Tony Liccione. May Tony rest in peace. Jennifer Cleeton (formerly Valenzo)."
