Ronnette Pauline Faokunla

Ronnette was born August 14, 1967 to James R. and Cora Lee Mitchell in Omaha, Nebraska. She was the youngest of six sisters and attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary and a graduate of Mercy High School. She was a member of St. Benedict The Moor and later in life attended services at Greater Beth-el Temple.
She worked for several companies, Great Western Bank, Mercy Villa, just to name a few. Ronnette has always been a loving caregiver and became a Foster Parent to many children of this city. She loved to travel, dine out, going to the grocery store EVERYDAY, also any family gathering she loved. She always made sure her hair and make-up was immaculate and was never shy about giving out compliments to anyone.
She was preceded in death by her parents James and Cora Mitchell, sister Glenda Bristol. She leaves to cherish her memories sisters: Cora Bristol and Sandra Pittman of Omaha, Nebraska, Diane (Scobbie) Moten of Dallas, Texas and Linda Stevens of Phoenix, Arizona. Brother Leroy Bristol (Janice) of Bellevue, Nebraska and nephew, Keyelend Wright (Lousise) Severance and Tia Alston of Phoenix, Arizona, great-nephew Damarii Wright; nieces: Ramea and Marloe Wright all Severance Colo. Foster children A'Marii and Melvin Newman of Omaha, Nebraska, aunts, uncles and cousins. Childhood friends: Keesha Kennedy-Benson, Lynette Dacus and Tiffany Beatty.
