Lyndon Joyce Clark

Lyndon Joyce Clark - 83, of Greensboro, North Carolina, passed at home December 17, 2021. He was born in Guilford County, North Carolina, to the late Howard Lee Clark and Treva Hiatt Clark. Lyndon married the love of his life, Mattie "Sue" Hamilton on January 1, 1961. He loved to garden and enjoyed playing piano and banjo, learning to play both by ear. He was very proficient in woodworking. Lyndon was a US Army veteran where he reached the rank of Corporal. He worked his entire life at Clark Farm Supply as Parts Manager. In addition to his parents, Howard Lee Clark and Treva Hiatt Clark, Lyndon was preceded in death by his son Michael Richard Collins. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 60 years, Sue Clark; daughter-in-law Karen Collins of Patrick Springs, VA; grandchildren, "Katie" Lyn Smith (Brandon) and Aaron Michael Collins (Karen) all of Patrick Springs, VA; great-grandchildren, Hunter Smith, Gavin Smith, Colston Collins, and Leland Collins; brother Ronnie Clark (Anita) of Greensboro, NC; sister Bonnie Yow of Greensboro, NC; niece Autumn Cummings (Jamie) of Greensboro, NC; great niece Taylor Cummings of Greensboro, NC; and nephew Chris Clark (Kim) of Greensboro, NC.
Graveside service will be held 2:00PM Wednesday, December 22nd at Westminster Gardens Cemetery, 3601 Whitehurst Road, Greensboro, NC 27410.
