David A. Craven

David A. Craven, 60, of North Smithfield, died Tuesday, December 14, 2021 in Oakland Grove Healthcare Center, Woonsocket. Born in Woonsocket, he was the son of Kenneth A. and Jacqueline (Thompson) Craven of North Smithfield.

David worked for over 35 years in the restaurant industry in a variety of capacities from chef to management including many years managing the family pizzeria. He enjoyed spending time with his family. As part of a large family there were many gatherings and vacations spent together making lasting memories. With his own brand of humor and distinctive laugh, that was infectious to be around, he always brought laughter and joy to those around him. He also enjoyed action movies, playing golf and basketball, and watching his favorite sports teams.

Along with his parents, he is survived by two sons, Jarrod Craven and his partner, Veronica Gaudreau of Cumberland, and Seth Craven and his fiance, Tyler Sylvester, of Cambridge, MA; three brothers, Michael Craven of Cumberland, Christopher Craven of Blackstone, and Kenneth W. Craven of Las Vegas, NV; and a sister, Rebecca Carrier of North Smithfield.

Private funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St. Woonsocket.
