Norman Lutter, 65, of Council Bluffs, IA, passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Martin Chapel Cemetery in rural Pacific Junction, IA. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Norman and his family.

Norman Lutter, 65, of Council Bluffs, IA passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 at his home. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2021 at the Martin Chapel Cemetery in rural Pacific Junction, IA. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Norman and his family.

Norman, one of three children and son of John and Francene (Chambers) Lutter, was born on August 24, 1956. He received his education from the Glenwood School District, graduating in 1974. After graduation, he worked for the Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad as a section foreman. Following the railroad he worked at varies places as a welder and fabricator.

Norman enjoyed all sorts of sports cars, especially the fast ones; he liked Iowa Hawkeyes football, and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Ernhardt Sr.

Norman is preceded in death by his father, John Lutter; step-father, Dean Score; and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Norman is survived by his mother, Francene Score of Glenwood, IA; sister, Cathy Taysen and her husband, Tim of Bellevue, NE; brother, Dan Lutter of Reno, NV; uncles, Robert L. Chambers and his wife Barbara of Shenandoah, IA and Mike Chambers and his wife Pam of Clarinda, IA; other relatives and a host of friends.
