Nancy Lynn Tucker was born on April 10, 1963 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The daughter of Max and Sara Thomas. She passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021 at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa at the age of fifty-eight.
Nancy had several hobbies and interests that kept her busy. Nancy enjoyed all things related to crafts. She enjoyed getting to scrapbook the special moments of her family's lives. She loved sewing and crocheting. Nancy spent many years vending at flea markets and craft fairs and valued the relationships she built with her customers. She also loved spending time volunteering and helping as many people as she could. She experienced so much happiness from helping others.
Nancy's number one priority in her life was her family. She loved being a mother to her four children and later on becoming a grandmother to her five grandchildren. Nancy was an amazing supporter for all their activities. Taking trips, going shopping, making meals, and having holidays as a family brought her great joy. She also enjoyed spending time with her beloved cat Sully.
Nancy was preceded in death by her husband: Franklyn Tucker on August 2, 2019; brother: Dale Morey. She is survived by her parents: Max and Sara Thomas of Denison; four children: Dana (Tom) Neemann of Denison, Vanessa Tucker of Omaha, Nebraska, Sarah (Mason) Stone of Denison, and Joshua Tucker of Grimes; five grandchildren: Samuel, Hannah, Sawyer, and Roman Neemann; and Lukas Stone; two siblings: Marc (Josie) Morey of California and Karen (Rob) Smith of Omaha; and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation is 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Denison. Funeral Service is 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at Our Savior Lutheran Church in Denison. Interment is in Oakland Cemetery in Denison. Memorials may be directed to the family.
