Jeanette Diane Weckerle Whiteman, 74, of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Friday, November 5, 2021. Born in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Ralph C. Weckerle and Libertad Miranda. She attended George O. Robinson School in Puerto Rico for elementary through high school and graduated from the University of Florida's School of Journalism with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising. Jeanette worked at IBM for 20 years before leaving to become a devoted mother and raise her daughter. She leaves behind Marland, her beloved husband of 43 years; it was at IBM that they met. She is also survived by her loving daughter Melissa, granddaughter Liberty Diane, and siblings Madeline, Elizabeth, and Charles. She was an avid reader; she had an amazing knack for pulling ideas from multiple books to form a more comprehensive understanding of complicated topics than any single book could ever provide.
