Arnold "Arnie" Codr, 77, of Tabor, IA passed away on Saturday, November 27,2021 at the Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, IA. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 2,2021 at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church with Rev. Dan Siepker officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral at the church beginning at 1:00 p.m. Loess Hills Funeral Home in Glenwood is caring for Arnie and his family.

On August 24, 1968 he married Cynthia Raymond at the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church in Glenwood. Arnie worked at the John Deere Implement in Plattsmouth then the John Deere Implement in Malvern. Following retirement from John Deere, he worked at the Tabor Grocery and Deli in Tabor.
Arnie enjoyed watching professional wrestling and watching his favorite wrestlers Hulk Hogan and John Cena. Most of all he loved mowing on his John Deere mower.
Arnie was a member of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Arnie is preceded in death by his parents.
Arnie is survived by his wife of 53 years, Cindy of Tabor, IA; sons, Pat Codr and his wife Melanie Odorizzi of Glenwood, IA, Mike Codr and his fiancé Dalena Sammons of Glenwood, IA, Adam Codr of Crescent,IA; sister, Delores Styskal of Villisca, IA and brother, Adolph Codr of Denmark, WI; other relatives and a host of many friends.
