Eddie Lee Burhans went to be with Jesus on November 14, 2021 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He is survived by his wife of 63 years Judy, his sister Linda Fay Casey, his children Edie Park, Jim Burhans, and Julie Gravatt, his grandchildren Rachael Berger, Carl Entner, Josh Entner, Jacquelyn Burhans, Jamie Burhans, and Danielle Gravatt, and many nieces and nephews. Eddie was preceded in death by his parents Edwin and Coralee Burhans and his brother James Burhans. Eddie was born in Los Angeles, CA to Edwin and Coralee Burhans in 1938. Eddie had a career as an electrical contractor starting his own business, Eddie Burhans Electric, in Southern California in 1972. In 1981, Eddie and Judy moved to Calistoga in the Napa Valley where he formed Vintage Electric. He worked for many of the wineries as one of the valley's most respected electrical contractors until his retirement in 2001.
Eddie's love was his family and friends. Eddie loved working the land with his tractor using his building skills. As a labor of love, Eddie turned their property in the Napa Valley into a beautiful place to host his many friends and family. Donations to his memory can be made to Alzheimer's research to help find a cure for this disease that affects so many.

"Dear Judy, Edie, Jim, Julie, Linda Fay and all the grandkids and nieces and nephews, Our tribute pretty much says it all but you know how we feel about Eddie and all the family. You are very special to us and as much as we miss you and will always miss Eddie we are at peace with the fact that now Eddie is also at peace at last."

"We knew Eddie & Judy so well, not only as a dear friends, but brothers in many places and times. We loved visiting them in Calistoga, living with a lot of fun people in Arcadia, taking trips to Hawaii plus many other unforgettable times that we shared. Eddie took us through wine caves (what an electrician!) rides on the backhoe, enjoying MANY delicious bottles of excellent wine and just sitting around talking and laughing....loved his laugh! We will never forget our good friend and boon companion and we know he's keeping God chuckling as he rests in Heaven. We miss you, Eddie but glad you're through with the tough part. Peace, friend. Love from Phylly and Burto"
