Phillip Matthew (Matt) Dashner, age 39, of Buford, GA, passed away on November 17, 2021. Matt loved his children, life and playing music. It has been said that "he was one of the finest bass players around." Matt is preceded in death by his father, Lester Dashner.
He is survived by his children, Ella and Owen Dashner; mother, Judy Dashner; siblings, Jennifer (Robbie) Ringo of Fritch, TX, Paul (Tracey) Tuggle of Cumming, GA; Jonathon Dashner of Dawsonville, GA, Renee Dashner of Loganville, GA, Eric Dashner of Loganville, GA; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with Rev. Rodney Allen and Rev. Don Allen officiating. A private family interment will follow at Dawsonville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, November 23, from the hours of 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ingram Funeral Home to help defer funeral expenses or to the Dawson County Humane Society.
