In loving memory of

Judith Ann Sanders
April 4, 1945 - November 18, 2021

Judith Ann Sanders, 76, of St. Charles died Thursday, November 18, 2021, at Olmsted Medical Center in Rochester, with her family by her side.
Judy was born April 4, 1945, in Utica to Marvin and Evelyn (Nisbit) Burt. She married Floyd Sanders December 9, 1961, at the Lewiston Church of the Brethren.
For most of her life, Judy provided day care for her grandkids, great grandkids as well as many other relatives and friends. To most she was known as "Granny Jude". She was most loved for her coffee conversations, sassy remarks, junk food candy dish and open-door policy that she extended to everyone she met. Her wisdom and caring attitude will be missed by all, including Tally, her dog of 16 years who was her faithful companion until the end. Her legacy will live on in the numerous children she was so proud of.
Judy is survived by her five children; Tammy (Jeff) Reed, Terry (Matt Eggert) Sinn, Tracy (Tom) Pietrzak, Trudy (Travis) Hansen and Tim Sanders; Eleven grandchildren; Becky, Rachel, Mike, Dan, Kristal, Jamie, Lindsay, Cody, Katie, Sammy, and Kyla; Seven great-grandchildren; Trindy, Paige, Andrew, Brandon, Mason, Lily, Madison and baby girl Majerus (expected soon), siblings; Marlys Schultz, Merlin (Joann) Burt, Roger (Mary) Burt, Kay (Darald) Sorenson, Patty (Tony) Patzner, Linda (Roger) Duellman, Jim (Deanna) Burt, and John Burt. She was preceded in death by Floyd, her husband of 54 years, sisters, Dorothy Bronner, Shirley Spitzer, a brother Donald "Bud" Burt and by her parents.
In accordance with Judy's longtime wish, there will be no public services. A private family burial will take place at Saratoga Cemetery in the spring. Memorials to the family may be mailed to Hoff Funeral Home, PO Box 576, St. Charles, MN 55972. Hoff Funeral Service of St. Charles is assisting the family. www.hofffuneral.com.
