"I met Howard back in the 80?s when I was managing Remillards bar. Our friendship started there and continued all these years. I would see him often in the lab. It was always a pleasure to chat about hunting and fishing. He would always bring me some of Ron?s awesome jerky and in return I would give him some of my venison bacon burger. Tamma he was really a special person. Take care. Dave Balbierz "

"I remember being out at deer camp with my Grandpa (Howard) and always having a good laugh. He was quite the character. One time we were eating salty beef jerky around an open fire when he accidentally dropped his. He reached for and picked up what he thought was his jerky and began eating it. He then commented on how ?chewy? it was when we all realized he was, in fact, chewing on a stick! ?- Tom Lindberg "
