Greg "Gus" Steven Loehr
January 20, 1977 - November 16, 2021

Greg "Gus" Steven Loehr, 44, of Callender, passed away on Monday, November 15, 2021 at Trinity Regional Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Friday, November 19th at Zion Lutheran Church in Gowrie with Rev. Jim Davis officiating. Visitation time for friends and family will be held on Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Laufersweiler Funeral Home in Fort Dodge.
Survivors include his wife Jamie of Callender, children Xaiver (Bryttni) Edgerton, Skylar (Chelsea) Edgerton, Ashlynn Edgerton all of Fort Dodge, 1 grandchild on the way, mom and dad Julie and Steven Loehr of Moorland, sister Pamela (Todd) Lee of Callender, and his puppy "Roscoe".
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Alvin "Bob" and Shirley Loehr, Carroll and Ione Miller, and his many basset hounds.
Greg Steven Loehr was born on January 20, 1977 in Fort Dodge. He was raised in the Callender and Gowrie area. Gus graduated from Gowrie High School in 1995. Following his education he worked at New COOP, farmed with the Stanek brothers Doug and Jason, F.C. Elevators, and most recently at Decker Truck Line until retiring in 2020 to be with his family. Gus enjoyed being on a farm since he was a little boy. He enjoyed camping, trips to the lakes with the kids, boating and tubing. Gus was an avid hunter, fisherman, and would often be found tinkering on things in his shop. A special thank you to Stanek Brothers, Miller Trucking and Decker Trucking for their support in Gus's life.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
