"You Bet-Right On"

A celebration of the life of Arden Tegels. Husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. That was Arden. A quiet gentle giant who loved the Lord and everyone that he ever met. Born May 4, 1943 to Leo and Bernadine Tegels in Omaha, NE. He liked the quote from Will Rogers that he never met a stranger. He always seen the good in everyone, even if no one else could. He worked for Thompson, Dreessen, and Dorner from 1971 - 2005. He loved sunsets, feeding the squirrels, fishing, golf, bowling, any kind of sports, wrastlin'. He loved to make people laugh and he loved to laugh. He would have made a good Santa clause laughing and giving people stuff. Arden would have given you the shirt off of his back, he would always say, "I am so content" If he has it and you needed it or even like it, it was yours. Marcell would often tell him his heart was so big it was overflowing and busting out the sides.

Right On Arden, you are so loved and missed.

Survived by wife Marcell; sons Rodney (Micki Gilfrey) Vashon of Fremont and Steven Vashon of Council Bluffs; grandchildren Ashley and Taylor (Saray) Vashon of Colorado; Collin Vashon of Arizona; Marshall Vashon of Omaha; great granddaughters Nevaeh and Serenity; twin brother Allan (Patty) Tegels of Raleigh, NC; sisters Diane Blakley Omaha, NE; Mary Lee Baker Omaha, NE; nieces, nephews, and other a lot of family members and friends.

"Arden was truly a treasure whom i will greatly miss. He loved ice cream (any kind) and cinnamon raisin bread from Rotellas Bakery. He was the kind of guy who turned life?s lemons into lemonade. He was always happy. He never complained about anything. He took everything in stride. I will miss hearing the sound of his voice whenever he answered the phone when i called for Marcile. Arden will be forever in my heart. Jalae Tomasek "
