Patricia Gilbert wrote on Nov 11, 2021:

"To all who loved Bob, his extended family and many friends who have felt his loss, may God comfort you during this time of healing. We loved Bob, and was proud to have him as our friend. Bob was kind, caring, and a man who seemed to never meet a stranger. The Gilbert family recognized what a Patriot he was when shared his experiences in the Navy. Although Bob had many challenges thru life, including his own battle with cancer, he always looked at things in a positive manner. We miss Bob so very much. However, it is our belief that we will meet one another again one day. The Gilbert Family & Patricia (Gilbert) Mayes & Bill Mayes "
