In loving memory of

Rosemary Klym
June 28, 1944 - October 31, 2021

Rosemary Klym was a Whittier girl. She was born in Whittier on June 28, 1944, to Melvin and Betty-Elizabeth Remland. She attended Ocean View Elementary School and graduated from Sierra High School in Whittier. In 1967 Rosemary graduated from Whittier College. While going to Whittier College she worked at Knotts Berry Farm's Chicken House. Rosemary taught at Ocean View Elementary School for 32 ½ years. Over the years she taught many different grades. She like to decorate and had very creative classrooms. She played the piano for many musicals and while in high school she played the flute in the band. During her younger years, she attended Calvary Baptist Church in Whittier and in the 1980's she began to attend Whittier Area Community Church. She was a part of the Monday morning Visitation Team and became friends with several ladies in that ministry. Rosemary had a very giving heart and enjoyed helping those in need. Over the years she gave several people rides to church who otherwise would not have been able to attend.

In 2000, Rosemary married William Klym and they made their home in Whittier. They eventually purchased property in Anza, California, and built a home there. Bill passed away in in December 2015. They had a dog, Molly, that she cared for and was her true companion the last few years. Rosemary had friendly neighbors that would check on her and help her with special projects. Normie was a very special friend, and they would talk together almost every day. Rosemary loved the Lord and was a faithful participant in the 8:00am worship service at WACC. She is survived by her two nephews, once niece, a number of cousins and many friends.

Rosemary passed into her eternal home on Sunday, October 31, 2021.
