"It was with profound sadness to receive word of Marguerite's passing. She was the first smiling fast that I encountered at the Mount Saint Charles ice rink when Keith and my son, Ken, were in instructional hockey. She was such a tremendous help to me during that time as I had a newborn in a stroller trying to juggle his schedule and the early morning schedules at the ice rink. I quickly found out why this woman was so nurturing, so caring and so loving as she had quite a few children with her beloved husband, Normand. I valued every piece of advice she gave me...always with the most sincere intentions and always with a smile. Normand and Marguerite were both recognized as staples within our town generously giving of their time and money to various organizations within the church community as well as the education and sports community. The entire town of North Smithfield shed some tears over her passing. I hope that knowing you are all in our thoughts and prayers provides you some comfort during this sorrowful time and in the difficult days yet to come."

"To all the Vadenais family, we are so very saddened to hear of Mrs. Vadenais's passing. Your mom was one in a million. How fortunate we all were in the neighborhood to have you as our neighbors. Our families could call on one another at anytime for a favor,a ride home from school, to be babysat,or just to enjoy wonderful conversations. Mrs. Vadenais came by unannounced on so many occasions to share her delicious homemade baked goods. You will be forever in our hearts. Rest in peace Margie!xoxo"

"To the Vadenais family,
My heart is so heavy today. Your mom was such an important person in my life as I grew up. Having her as a neighbor was so special. Playing Kick-the-Can in her yard, swimming in her pool, eating a meal at her table are just some ways Mrs. V. included me into your family. I cannot fail to mention she always had a delicious baked good that she shared with me.
She is now with Pep and Big Norm.
Rest in sweetest peace, Mrs. V."

"So saddened about Marge's passing. She was a valuable friend as well as my Slatersville neighbor. Now Marge and Norm are together again. I miss Norm, and now will miss Marge. She was smart, wise, funny, witty, compassionate, fair and sensible---all great qualities for a loving mom, wife, etc. Will miss our talks out in her yard. Dear Marge, rest in peace. You were the best on so many levels."
