Julie Ann (Berry) Mann, age 58 of Kelley, Iowa, passed away October 25th 2021, from complications of Covid. She put up a good fight.

Julie was born October 1st 1963, at the Story County Hospital in Nevada, Iowa; to Larry and Marcia Berry. Julie graduated from Ames High School in 1982. Julie enjoyed baking and making pasta salads. She Loved making zucchini bread as well. When she made it, she would make for the whole county to enjoy. She loved to share it with her family and friends. Especially her Uncle Raymond Berry. Ray would always make sure to plant Zucchini in his garden to guarantee he would have his zucchini bread from Julie. Another specialty of hers was her Cucumber Pasta Salad. She made this for any event including holidays, funerals and weddings. Julie was a special person and would do anything, for anyone. She would Always make sure her family was taken care of. She was an amazing Mother to her two boys, Bruce and Curtis Mann, whom she loved dearly. Julie was an amazing Aunt, who was more like a big sister. She was very active in each and every one of their lives. She never missed a birthday. Julie was their babysitter, bestfriend, childhood taxi driver and a supplier of endless soda and candy at the BMX track, skating rink, boys and girls club, carnivals, parades, the list could go on for miles. She enjoyed getting her hair styled and makeup done by her nieces. She also loved braiding and styling their hair.

She was a great Aunt to Bella, Chloee, Kaylee, Sophia, Harley, Lilliah, Jackson and Caleb. She loved each and everyone of them equally in their own way. She enjoyed going to the park, watching movies with them, having sleepovers, going to parades with them and letting them style her hair too. Julie always wanted a little girl of her own, so her nieces were pretty spoiled. Julie finally got her little girl and named her Princess. She loved her dog very much. She would dress her up for all occasions including birthday parties. She would take her to nursing homes to brighten up the tenants there as well. She will be greatly missed by all of us.

"Julie was my Ballerina Girl ? and my Jewels ? We spoke often over FaceTime and it was always closed with an, ?I love you!? When Julie said it, she meant it and she showed it. We talked about ?our? boys, Bruce & Curt because I?m their Stepmom. Julie and I had a very special friendship that I deeply cherished.
