Heaven has a new angel. Kathleen Lara died October 20, 2021, at the age of 73.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and moved to Phoenix as a young girl. The desert southwest quickly became her home. Kathy attended Camelback High School and went on to Phoenix Community College where she graduated as a Medical Records Coder. After nearly three decades of service, Kathy retired from Honorhealth (Shea).
However, Kathy's favorite job was being a mom. She loved her family, friends and animals. We will never forget all those fabulous trips with grandma and grandpa.
Kathy is preceded in death by her mom, Lois and her father, Chuck. She is survived by her daughter, Shannon, a dog and three cats.
