"Hard work and doing ?chores? - all learned from my grandma - helped shape me and helped me become the person I am today. As a young girl eating her chiffon cake and cinnamon rolls were the absolute best! I thank God all of us ?cousins? had the opportunity to explore the farm and create memories and laughter for a lifetime. Grandma I am so blessed to have had you a part of my life until I was 52 years old. Thank you for everything you did for me and all the special times we had together. Love, Granddaughter Dani "

"Marlan lost so many children way before their time, but always remained rock solid in her faith without becoming bitter. The last year+ of her life, having to work around the Covid rules, had to be excruciating for her and you girls, Rhonda and Coleen. Again, she remained steadfast. Your family is amazing! And it's all rooted in your faith in Christ and his promise of eternal life. You have our sympathies and prayers for strength at this time. Renee and Butch Miller"
