"I met Don a long time ago. He was nine when he moved to the neighborhood from Shortsville. We spent a lot of time together. I even watched the moon landing with him back in 1969. We played often until I went off to school out of state. We talked a few months ago about getting together again. I feel really saddened that it never happened. Sorry old pal."

"Don, you will be missed by so many people, myself included. You always went out of your way to say hi to everyone you knew (and it seemed like everyone knew you), both when you started your day, and ended it. I love you for the person you were to me, and still are to me - a very, very nice guy. You made the world a much better place with your presence and caring attitude. Goodbye for now My Friend."
