"I have fond memories of Mrs Bowman as she was my teacher for Kindergarten and 1st grade at the two-room school in Centerville. I remember her calling our grade up to the front to practice our alphabets and got me through l-m-N-o-p. Reading the Dick and Jane books. About 10 yrs ago I had called her to confess that I used a white crayon and did a little mark on the chaulk board and found out the difference between chaulk and crayons. She said she knew I did it and was waiting for me to confess- We laughed so hard over that. Family- so sorry for your loss. She left a lot of great memories on my heart."
