"I have thought of Winnie many times over the years. I worked side by side with her at CMH in the 70\'s. I would run in to her now and then and she always had a smile; we would talk about those old days at the hospital. She was a wonderful nurse aide. She was so in love with Cap and she so loved the girls . She was a special, special lady and had such a great attitude about life. She and her husband are happily reunited now. My blessings to her family."

"Winnie was the best neighbors, she always had a smile on her face. Living across the street from 3 rambunctious boys can be challenging but she did it with grace and kindness. We shared many a cans of beets (Cap didn\'t care for them and my family didn\'t either) and stories (growing up she lived by my mom). Winnie you were one of God\'s special people."

"My most sincere sympathies to family and friends. I don\'t remember ever seeing Winnie without a smile on her face and she always had a warm welcome when I stopped over to chat and sit at the kitchen table sharing a cup of coffee. She will be dearly missed but remember no one is truly gone who lives on in our hearts. (A fellow quilter)"
