Senovia Medina, age 92 gained her eternal wings on October 7, 2021. She died peacefully in her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born October 30, 1928, in Austin, Texas.
She is survived by her daughters Dorothy Velasquez (Domingo), Rosalina Almaguer (Santos), Mary Ann Esquivel (Leandro), Reymond Medina, Margarito Medina, Yolanda Esquivel, Mike Medina all of Austin. She is also survived by 35 grandkids, 125 great grandkids, 101 great-great grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents Conrad and Marcela Rodriguez, husband Magaleno Sr. Medina, sons Magaleno Jr. Medina, Mario Medina, and daughter Sara Medina.
Senovia retired with 43 years of service from the University of Texas Jester Hall as a full-time custodian. She was a lifetime Texas Longhorn fan. She also served as a Guadalupana member for Dolores Catholic Church and assisted with festivals. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Sister. She will be greatly missed by all.
Visitation and Rosary will be Wednesday, October 13, 2021, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM, at Harrell Funeral Home Austin, 4435 Frontier Trail, Austin, TX 78745. Burial Services will be Thursday, October 14, 2021, 9:00 AM departure from Harrell Funeral Home to Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S-135 Frontage Rd., Austin, TX
