"I have been struggling to find the words to express how the loss of a dear friend has impacted not only Rick's family but also the people who were lucky enough to call him a friend...when Rick LOVED, he loved fiercely...he was protective, concerned for others and yes even a bit opinionated..... that is what we all loved about him... I know that when ever I am feeling sad about his passing, I will just think about how he teased us all with pictures of his Amie M. Triano prepared Sunday feasts..I love you Rick..."

" I send my condolences to the family and assurances of prayers for Richard and the family as you grieve with joy his passing into eternal life. I will offer Mass tomorrow for the repose of his soul. May the Lord reward him for his faithfulness in following Him all these years, especially His willingness to serve Him early in his life as a young seminarian. He decided to serve him through his marriage and willingness to be a father and raise a family. I will have fond memories of Richard as he gazes upon the Face of God! May he intercede for us here on earth till we meet again in Heaven. I am glad I was able to have contact with him again these past few years. May the Lord reward Him for the kindness and joy he shared with so many people!"
