Shannon Gregory Reis

Shannon Gregory Reis, 52, of Cumming, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, September 21st, 2021.

Shannon was born in Berwyn, Illinois to Larry Gregory and Veronica Bailey on July 24th, 1969. Shannon grew up in Cypress, California, and graduated from Cypress High School in 1987. After graduation, she attended college and received her associate's degree. Shannon worked in a variety of careers such as a flight attendant, sales associate, stunt double, photographer, and casting director, along with many more. She was multitalented and was able to accomplish and succeed at anything and everything she put her mind to. However, the thing that she was most proud of was her family. Shannon and Chad Reis were married on September 29th, 1996, and had their first beautiful daughter, Savannah, in 1997. They were then blessed with another girl, Sierra, in 2001, and in 2004 they had their last daughter Catalina. All three girls were born in California but in 2008, Shannon and her family moved to Forsyth Country Georgia where they all still currently reside. It was in Georgia that Shannon began her work in the film industry. She had started doing extra work in many of the local television shows and movies and then proceeded to begin her own photography business. Although it was very successful, Shannon never stopped striving for more and decided to take on another challenge. After having worked in the industry for many years, she created Shannon Reis Casting and was set on the track to become one of the top casting directors in Georgia. Shannon will be dearly missed by all who knew her. She touched the lives of everyone who crossed her path with her bright smile and even brighter laugh. The absence of her warmth will be acknowledged and grieved greatly. Shannon was the best Mom and Lolli to the children she loved so much.
Shannon is survived by her husband Chad Reis; daughters Savannah, Sierra, and Catalina; grandchildren Luke and Charlotte; mother Veronica; father Larry; siblings Shayne and Cad.

She was preceded in death by Donna Rae Owens Mulholand and Terri Owens Gregory.

A private memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 10th, 2021. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the "Shannon Reis Donation Account" at any Wells Fargo location by giving the name or account number: #3895414179.
