Barbara was born on April 29, 1957, in Wahoo, NE, to Wade and Virginia Haynes. She spent the majority of her growing up years in Hall County, NE, graduating from Centura Public School in 1975. While at Centura she was active in drama club, pep club, choral groups, and loved all things home ec. She loved to swim and roller skate and loved spending time with her friends. She married Dennis Woitaszewski in 1975. They had two children, Stacy and Derik, and they divorced in 1979. She went on to focus her every effort on being a mom and supporting her kids by working for New Holland where she met Glenn Kostman in 1982. They married and moved to Glendale, AZ. She built a residential house cleaning business that she grew into a commercial cleaning company. She was an excellent business owner who employed many over the years. Glenn died in 1998 and Barbara went on to marry Ronald Olson in 2001. They were married for 20 years.
Barbara loved being a homemaker, wife, mom, and grandmother. She loved Jesus with all her heart, mind, soul, and strength and she shared Him with everyone she met. While she did and accomplished many great things in life, she found her real purpose in loving God and loving others. If she could have done nothing else, her true joy was found in making her home beautiful and welcoming for any and all family and friends and even complete strangers. She was everyone's greatest prayer warrior.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald Olson; her children Stacy (Manuel) Valenzuela, Derik (Deanna) Woitaszewski; 14 grandchildren; her sister, Kristi Hayden; and nieces and nephews as well as extended family.

"Sorry to hear of Barb's passing. We talked every once in awhile by phone, but I had not seen her for quite some time. The conversations were always pleasant. I know she will be missed. Treasure the memories and remember her always.
