Sherry Lynn Naylor, age 56 passed away on October 1, 2021 from COVID-19 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, Georgia. Sherry was born in Olathe, Kansas on May 30, 1965 and raised in Lenexa. She is survived by her loving partner of 30 years, Pat Belt and their daughter Hailee Belt, her mother Lucie Naylor of Olathe, Kansas, siblings Bob Naylor (Julie) of Olathe, Kansas, Janet Jagels (Carey) of Denver, Colorado and Tricia Michaels (Terry) of Lees Summit, Missouri and seven nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her beloved dogs, Kacey and Chloe. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Naylor.
Sherry always had a cheerful attitude, bright smile, and contagious laugh. She loved children and early in life worked in childcare and as a private nanny until her health issues kept her at home. Sherry would tell you her greatest accomplishment and joy was being a mother to Hailee and spending time with her soulmate, Pat. She loved vacationing at the beach in Gulf Shores and drinking her banana Daiquiris. She also loved returning to Kansas to visit her mother, friends and family.
Memorial services will be held at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, October 8th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.
