Carmela Quattropani
September 27, 1934 - September 18, 2021
Carmela "Melina" Quattropani was a dedicated, wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She left this world on September 18, 2021, at age 86. She was born on September 27, 1934, in Messina, Sicily. In 1964, she married Sebastiano Quattropani. In 1965, Carmela and Sebastiano left Italy to chase their dreams in America. Together, in Rochester, NY, they had four children: Felicia (predeceased), Linda, Mary, and Conrad as well as two grandchildren: Aidan and Devin.
Carmela loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals for her family. Her children would gather around the kitchen table for lasagna and lively chatter. She was a U.S. citizen most of her life but remained the consummate Italian - her home filled with the sounds of Pavarotti and commotion.
No prior visitation. A last prayer service is scheduled for 1:00 pm on October 6th, 2021, at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in the Chapel of The All Saints Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Seneca Park Zoo (https://senecaparkzoo.org/donate/).
