Phyllis C. Hoffman, 91, of Little Falls, died Thursday, September 30, 2021 at Lake Hills Elderly Care in Cushing. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 4 at 1:00 P.M. at the Randall Presbyterian Church. A visitation will be held from 12:00 - 1:00 P.M. at the church. Interment will follow at Randall City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the church.
Phyllis Corrine Olson was born July 20, 1930 in Little Falls, MN to Olaf and Anetta (Kidd) Olson. She graduated from Little Falls High School in 1948. In May of 1958, she married Iven Gilbertson in Randall, MN. The two later divorced. On August 19, 1967, she married Laverne Hoffman in Omaha, NE.
Phyllis spent twenty-three years working at American Charter Savings and Loan in Omaha, another seven years at First United Bank in Omaha, and then three years at Walmart in Little Falls. She enjoyed traveling on Gary Block's bus tours. She belonged to the VFW in Randall and was a member of Randall Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder, Deacon, and choir member.
Phyllis is survived by her brother, Owen (Lavon) Olson; her sister-in-law, Lois Olson; and her nieces and nephews: Kyle Olson, Blane Olson, Karla Tetrault, Daniel Olson, Michelle Rodriguez, Connie Flannery, Kelley Olson, and Clinton Olson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: Gordon and Warren Olson; and her sister, Joyce Schmidt.
