Norman J. VanAs
May 12, 1944 - September 29, 2021

Greece: At age 77, he entered the gates of heaven on September 29, 2021.
He joins his beloved wife, Grace Marie VanAs; parents, James and Wilhelmina VanAs; stepdaughter, Jean Marie Gallina.

He is survived by his; sister, Valerie Miller; daughter, Tamara (James) MacDuff; son, Michael VanAs; stepson, George R. (Nina) Miles, Jr.; stepdaughter, Cathleen Slocum; stepdaughter, Joanne (John) Thomas; nieces, Holly (Casey) Stettner and Jessica Stettner; many cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Norm belonged to The Odd Fellows Humboldt Lodge. He was employed at Xerox for many years, and to him those he worked with were family. When he wasn't at work you could find him teeing off on a golf course or at the helm of his boat navigating the waters of Lake Ontario and the Genesee River.

He will be missed dearly by us all, but he left us with many cherished memories.

No prior visitation. Norman's funeral service will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 2nd, 10 AM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626 followed by his interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
