Claire N. (Laplante) Rochefort - Roy, 88, passed away December 8, 2020 in Overlook Nursing and Rehab, Pascoag, RI. She was predeceased by her former husbands, Roland Rochefort and Eugene Roy. Born in Woonsocket, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Fabiola (Phaneuf) Laplante.
Mrs. Roy lived in Woonsocket for many years, moving to Franklin in 1969. She worked for a few companies in the area, but retired from FM Global in Norwood, MA after 24 years. She was a communicant of St. Theresas parish, Blackstone.
She is survived by her son Michael Rochefort of Harrisville and two grandchildren, Jason Rochefort and his wife, Tina, of California, and Tara Rochefort of Florida; five great grandchildren; her brother, Paul Laplante of Boston; her sister, Helen Lemoine of Northbridge; several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her sister, Juliette Lundy.
Her funeral will be held WEDNESDAY December 16, 2020 with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Theresas Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone, MA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Holt Funeral Home, 510 South Main St., Woonsocket.
